Brief history of the institution
Eastern Province, Batticaloa District, Manmunai Northern Region Secretariat, a hospital owned by the central government. On 01/12/2009, this hospital was taken over by the central government.
It consists of two wards, an outpatient department, two internal and external hospitals as well as several buildings including an ambulance and is located in Kattankudi, Manchanthoduvaya region. About 50 staff members are attached to it and provide patient care services through Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani medical systems.
